Button Box Setup and Support
We have worked very hard so you don't have to. Our units are set up to be simple to use, logical in function, and easy to mount.
Button Box User Guide
1. Unbox and Connect
Gently unbox your brand new toy and set up at a convenient location near your racing wheel. In most setups, this will be to the left of the wheel as these are primarily intended to be used with the left hand. Connect to your PC using the provided USB cables. These do not require the faster USB ports on your PC - the standard ports are fine.
2. Software Installation
Just kidding. There isn't any. Our Button Boxes are recognized as a joystick by Windows and they will be mappable immediately.
3. Launch iRacing to Map Buttons
From here, everything you do will be done in the sim itself. Launch the sim and join a Test Session using your most commonly used vehicle. The Pit Commands are managed via AUTO TEXT CHAT entries, while the In-Car Adjustment cluster, Ignition, Starter, and Tow/Exit buttons are directly mapped within the OPTIONS > CONTROL menu.
4. Programming iRacing Pit Macros
You can customize the buttons to fit your needs obviously, but understanding how the commands work is key. First, you must learn that the commands work cohesively together for the most simple command up to the more complex commands.

6. Installing/Removing Switch Covers (where applicable)
Some of our units have Ingnition and Starter switches and come with switch flip covers. These can be easily removed or added. All hardware is included to run the box with or without the covers. Please note that you should use care when doing so as to not damage the faceplate. The back of the switch cover is bare metal and will damage the faceplate. When adding or removing the covers, do one first, then the other. The switches are connected on the back end of the plate, and removing the hardware on both at the same time will allow the switches to fall into the unit.
7. Mounting Your Button Box to Your Rig or Desk
The 24-button boxes have the 100x100 and 75x75 VESA mount screw pre-sunk. The 12-button boxes have the 75x75 VESA mount screws pre-sunk. This means that the unit can be mounted to almost any rig with its corresponding adapter. Since VESA mounts are universal, this gives you flexibility on mounting angles and positions.
